Description:Human Resources Manager COMPANY PROFILE: Our client started in 1976 and has become an industry leader in the manufacture of cleaning and protection products for the transportation industry. Today the company operates three divisions –Professional Car Care Products, Commercial Transportation Cleaning Solutions and Solution Application Technology. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: As the Human Resources Manager of a small company, you will be an integral part of the corporate management team and make a positive impact on the company. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: The Human Resources Manager reports directly into the President of the company and is accountable for human resource-related functions including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, setting expectations, compensation, benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, accountability, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and AA/EEO compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitors administration to established standards and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies. • Develops and monitors an annual budget that includes HR services, employee recognition, and training. • Works with CEO and CFO for utilization of any Human Resources consultants, attorneys, training specialists, and use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, and other outside sources. • Participates in management and company staff meetings and attends other meetings/seminars. • Keeps the CEO and the executive team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level. The community has two exceptional public school districts, a special needs school, Montessori and parochial schools, and is also home to a nationally recognized College. BACKGROUND PROFILE: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration with significant related experience preferred. A satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties will also be considered. PREFERRED: Human Resources certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP)
