We are well capitalized and are growing in leaps and bounds, now needing a talented Vice President of Sales & Distribution to spearhead our national future growth plans. FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Car Allowance Health Benefits Bonus Structure THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: Reporting to the Vice President-Sales, this individual will: Build a full-coverage national distribution network through identifying valuable current and emerging opportunities Manage each distributor funding budget and assure execution of initiatives and programs to which those funds are directed Develops national sales strategies, tactics, and action plans for product positioning and pricing strategies to secure long term market presence and increased doors Establish measurable goals for stakeholders to capitalize on opportunities and remediate short-falls, while also keeping the company competitive Responsible for high level customer partnerships with McLane Core-Mark, Eby-Brown and H.T. Hackney to drive new national distribution business, develop optimal support for key initiatives to retail and secure growth opportunities Assess competitive landscaping and institute changes to sales programs in response to market changes Lead, mentor and motivate team to drive successful sales and make proactive decisions Directs all policy, procedures and operational aspects for all distribution accounts Develop volume forecasting methodology across all SKUs to inform financial guidance and production targets Evaluates market research and activity, maintains product and competitor knowledge and adjusts sales strategies and performance goals accordingly Prepares periodic sales reports showcasing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed door expansion Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs and promotions, manages promotional pricing and maintains specific account events/programs BACKGROUND PROFILE: We are looking for an experienced self-starting professional to own and drive performance on a national level. This role will be responsible for developing a network of national distribution partners, while leading and mentoring a team that drives sales successfully. Candidate must possess the right interpersonal skills to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively. This role involves some analysis, market research and tracking; therefore candidate must be number oriented with well developed business skills. Bachelor’s degree required 8-10 years of regional and/or director sales experience Experience selling to McLane, Core-Mark, Eby-Brown and H.T. Hackney a must Detail oriented with strong communication proficiency Strong analytical and strategic thinking Hard working, ambitious, and confident Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment Efficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Finance Knowledge a plus Ability to travel 50% of the time Additional Considerations We are looking for an energetic catalyst to make big things happen.
