Description:Midwest Regional Sales Manager COMPANY PROFILE: European company that has been in the USA since 2009 but been in business since 1954. They are one of the leading companies in the Diesel Exhaust Fluid Dispensing System, Fuel Transfer, Lubricant Transfer & Measuring and Pumps (PTO) arenas. They have a 275,000 square foot warehouse in Europe and a 40,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Florida. To serve the US market, the company offers a dedicated sales, service and marketing team to service a distribution network in America. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: You will be responsible for the sale of the organization's products in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing development and support to product distribution channel. The region that you will cover is a midwest territory that would also include central/western Canada and could possibly include parts of the Far West coast. Besides taking ownership of your designated region, you will build and assist distributors with their organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. You will grow existing and underperforming distributors in your region based on target amounts along with developing new distributors based on sales projections. Using your CRM experience, you will maintain notes online and constantly updates opportunities in our online CRM. Your training experience will become very valuable with us as you become actively involved in new distributor sales orientation and sales training programs. The region has Manufacturer Representatives (inside or third party/independent) and you wil also provide training and other functions for them to be successful. Because you are a closer, you will act as a resource to distributors in contract opportunities and proposals. Your business skills will come into play as you assist the sales team in planning and attending trade shows. You'll keep informed on new products, services and other general information of interest to customers. With your troubleshooting abilities, you'll diagnose problems regarding products provided, or assure that the service techn troubleshoots product issues. Customer service is big at our company, so you will act as a company ambassador and handle questions/complaints from distributors and customers. COMMUNITY Fort Lauderdale is one of the largest cities in Florida with world class restaurants, tourist attractions and beaches. You would be required to live in the Fort Lauderdale vicinity for this position, but the position requires 75% travel to the midwest territory you would cover. BACKGROUND PROFILE: · Knowledge of mechanical/electronic issues and repairs relating to fluid dispensing and managing equipment is a plus. Mechanical/electrical aptitude At least one year experience in setting up and maintaining a distribution network. At least three years of field sales experience. Five plus years of sales experience within similar industry. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. · Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. · Excellent communication skills both written and oral. · Active Listener and Critical Thinker. · Solid time management skills. · Must work well independently, as well as within a team environment. · Ability to analyze problem situations and present appropriate solutions. · Must be organized and possess a high level of administration ability to effectively manage paperwork. · Must possess excellent customer service skills. · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
