Description:Field Service Technician (Candidate Must Be Located In Greater Nashville, TN Area-Relocation Assistance Is Not Available) COMPANY PROFILE: Our client is a well-established, respected, employee owned organization. All of these elements combine to provide an increasing value to their customers. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: Repairs lubrication or fuel equipment on site. Performs equipment repair for Pclient and client customers. Performs and/or assists new equipment installations. Maintains sufficient truck inventory, notifies Supervisor of problems and maintains cleanliness. Prepares and delivers tanks. Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of all company owned facilities. Handles the weekly clean-up and organization of shop and storage areas. Follows company policies and procedures including all SOPs and safety guidelines. BACKGROUND PROFILE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required to obtain Class B CDL and industrial lift truck certification. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must be able to read a measuring tape to the 16th. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Follows company policies and procedures including all SOPs and safety guidelines.
