Description:Territory Sales Manager – Fluid Power & Hydraulic Global manufacturer of industrial equipment is adding a Territory Sales Manager to their dynamic team in Houston. Expect 40 to 50% travel The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of Sales & business development experience with industrial products such as valves, actuators, bearings, fluid power, power transmission, gears, drives, motion control, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic equipment, mobile equipment or closely related industrial equipment. Responsibilities: Help to set and carry out the company's long term market strategy, leading us on a path to grow in existing and new markets. Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails. Visiting potential customers in order to gain new business. Up to 50% travel may be required. Negotiating the terms of an agreement and CLOSING SALES. Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends. Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets. Updating sales activities into CRM software. Skills and Interests: A passion for Sales with a proven track record of success. High Mechanical/Technical Aptitude. Hydraulic, Fluid Power, Bearing, & Gearbox backgrounds are highly desired. Excellent communication skills. A confident and determined approach. A high degree of self-motivation and drive. The ability to work both independently and with a team. Strong understanding cost/selling calculations. Competence in Excel and other Office Application. Experience with CRM packages.
