Description:Service and Warranty Manager -Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Based COMPANY PROFILE: European company that has been in the USA since 2009 but been in business since 1954. They are one of the leading companies in the Diesel Exhaust Fluid Dispensing System, Fuel Transfer, Lubricant Transfer & Measuring and Pumps (PTO) arenas. They have a 275,000 square foot warehouse in Europe and a 40,000 sq.ft. warehouse in Florida to service their clients. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: As a successful service & warranty manager, you will become the point of reference for the sales team and customers alike. Your goal is to timely address customers concerns and warranty claims in a fair and cost effective manner as well as to provide feedback to the sales team to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company. The service & warranty manager will also liaise between other departments and the customer to provide the service most suitable to the customer’s needs, cost and time restraints. As the company is growing rapidly, this opportunity is certainly going to provide growth. You will manage 2 customer service/tech mechanics and help them to grow their skill set. You will process warranty claims and act as customer service manager, representing the company. A big part of your duties will be to grow the service/warrantydepartment, so you will have the opportunity to hire, train and grow your own people. COMMUNITY Fort Lauderdale is one of the largest cities in Florida with world class restaurants, tourist attractions and beaches. You would be required to live in the Fort Lauderdale vicinity for this position. BACKGROUND PROFILE: · Proficient knowledge of mechanical/electronic issues and repairs relating to fluid dispensing and managing equipment. Managerial experience in an office and/warehouse setting. · Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency. · Excellent communication skills both written and oral. · Active Listener and Critical Thinker. · Solid time management skills. · Must work well independently, as well as within a team environment. · Ability to analyze problem situations and present appropriate solutions. As this position deals with the Latin American/ European market, Spanish or Italian fluency is preferred. · Must be organized and possess a high level of administration ability to effectively manage paperwork. · Must possess excellent customer service skills. · Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP preferred. · Bachelor’s degree preferred BUT NOT REQUIRRED
