Description:Regional Sales Director- Northeast Region COMPANY PROFILE: Our client has been in business for almost 70 years and we are the leading provider of fuel and fluid handling systems in North America. From one office and a small staff to more than 500 of the industry’s best and brightest, they have grown to be the largest complete solution provider serving fuel system owners and operators in North America. They are presently searching for the best and brightest in sales to manage an exploding territory located on the eastern seaboard. We have a tremendous training program, so much so, that many of our competitors send their people to us to be trained. We are actively seeking to fill this Director position and are accepting applications immediately. . FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Superb benefit plan with Life and Health Insurance Base Salary, Bonus and Unlimited Commission 401K plus Matching Dental, Vision, Long and Short Term Disability Liberal Vacation Plan Paid Major Holidays Expense Account Ample opportunity for Advancement and Growth Extensive training on Company Products and Services THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY: As a Regional Sales Director, you will use your sales skills and industry contacts to distribute our products and services You will manage and grow a team of sales reps, service maintenance reps and a sales support staff You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts you will develop with your team As a Regional Sales Director, you should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics and manage the sales budget within your region We expect you to have good negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals You will review and approve quotes/projects for your sales team to ensure accuracy and profitability This position will advance your level of experience within the petroleum/equipment industry as the VP of Sales that you will report to has extensive industry experience COMMUNITY You can reside anywhere in the target Region for this position. The company is based out of the Southern US but living in the states of MD, PA, NJ, NY or MA is required. A candidate from RI or DE would also be considered. THERE IS NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AS THE CANDIDATE SHOULD ALREADY RESIDE IN THE TARGET REGION BACKGROUND PROFILE: Five to eight years experience in high-level sales management is REQUIRED Experience within the petroleum equipment industry is REQUIRED Expertise in traveling to accounts to service and grow them Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients’ requirements are met Collect and analyze sales performance metrics Excellent analytical and organizational skills Strong communication skills Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards Stay up-to-date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed. Expected travel is above 50% Expertise with MS Office and CRM products Four-year college degree is preferred
